Depression

Depression, including clinical depression, post partum depression, and seasonal affective depression are extremely common in society today. However, most people with depression never seek help even though most who do get support see an improvement in their well being.

Signs of depression can include:

  • constant feelings of sadness, irritability, or tension
  • feeling worthless, guilty and hopeless
  • thoughts of suicide
  • diminished interest in hobbies or activities that you once enjoyed
  • low energy, even after a good night’s sleep
  • Sleeping too much or too little and awaking frequently during the night or early in the morning
  • severe weight loss or gain due to a change in apatite
Discussing depression with your Theraphone therapist can help clarify why you are experiencing these feelings and offer strategies for treating depression.
